The Ruppell's Korhaan is a large stately bird which is endemic to the desert and arid areas of Namibia and Angola. We encountered a few pairs of these birds on our drive across the Namib-Naukluft plain. Photographs taken in the valley descending from Spreetshoogte Pass towards Solitaire on the plain.
