My passion is photographs of birds so here you will find a collection of birding photos from my native Scotland and from trips to other parts of the world. 

My images are taken with two camera systems

- a Canon EOS DSLR of various types, currently a 7D, with a Canon 400mm DO F4 IS. I sometimes also use my Canon 100-400 EF IS zoom lens.

- a Kyocera Contax U4R which I used for digiscoping through a Swarovski ATS65HD telescope.

All my photo editing is done using Picture Windows Pro details of which can be found on the web site of Digital Light & Colour - have a look, it is so much cheaper and easier to use than Photoshop. Now even better – Picture Windows Pro Release 5 now available.
