Lightning Bugs?

Lightning Bugs?

This was a fortunate find! I mentioned to my godmother that I needed a picture of
a small creature, maybe a bug. She said, well, I just may have what you need, and
proceeded to lead me to the rear of the garage.
All along the back wall were hundreds of what looks like Lightning Bugs
(in the daylight) copulating. "It is Spring," she said.

Not Lightning Bugs... Nice angle on what is probably an Eastern Boxelder, or some other "plant bug". ;-)
