TITC - SOMETHING THAT TAKES YOUR FANCY

Dallas, TX

Well, I would fancy to have one of these 500mm lens to shoot more closeup shots of the beautiful world surrounding us!

other sizes: small medium large auto

A beautiful image of the Pelicans and a nice composite. You could always try a 500mm mirror lens. Tiny in comparison.
Mairéad22-Nov-2008 22:46
Lovely work. And I want one of them too.

Would be a wonderful addition, great shot Cindi.
Phillip Normanton21-Nov-2008 09:58
Great choice - but a bit restrictive for indoor shots :))
Dan Chusid21-Nov-2008 08:54
Try hand-holding THAT monster!
beverley harrison21-Nov-2008 08:40

Jola Dziubinska21-Nov-2008 00:54
Get your fancy dream, girl! You're gonna make even bigger closeup then this guy did ;))
Russ Rose21-Nov-2008 00:24
You know, if its a 500mm lens that you want, do it. You will figure a way to carry it. And enjoy it as you will get the great images that make.

I like this collage and I adore birds shots like this, but I´m happy, not to have any material wishes of this kind. With my little camera I enjoy to go to the zoo from time to time instead.

Oh this is so lovely, Cindi....we had our 3rd severe storm in 5 days so I've not had time to post or view much...so happy I saw this one V

Amazing lens, but I agree with those who suggested carrying help for you!
corypdot20-Nov-2008 19:04
This is the famous "capturing two flies mating on the moon" lens..... I would like to try one once.
Jeff Lobaugh20-Nov-2008 18:58
I would disagree with Barbara. If I had one I would carry it EVERYWHERE. Well composed here!!
Barbara Heide20-Nov-2008 17:19
very clever composition! Well, I wouldn't want to carry this around very often... that seems to be very heavy!
monica memoli20-Nov-2008 16:31
Me too! v
CreativeWiseGal20-Nov-2008 14:30
Better start working out if you want to carry THAT around! :-)
Ken Duckert20-Nov-2008 14:21
Great commentary! It captures so, so much. Bravo.
Inga Morozoff20-Nov-2008 13:57
Nice lens, but you'd need to hire a Sherpa to carry it for you.
Guest 20-Nov-2008 13:11

Great collage, Cindi. I am not a bird photographer, so the 500 mm is not my first choice.
My wish: a beautiful tilt and shift!
Ann...20-Nov-2008 08:09
Goodness Cindi - could you carry that beastie?!?! Great compilation.
Norbert Fortelny20-Nov-2008 07:19
