One of my big interests in getting to the west was to shoot the wide open spaces. Thankfully I was not driving when we came up to this tanker in this light. Since this was a WA frame, we had to get quite close to the truck at over 70 mph to get the perspective I wanted.
A last shot from a rainy night on the DC Mall, wet enough that I had to keet a plastic bag over the camera most of the time. I shot the Jefferson Memorial right after the Washington Monument pano. I was way tired as I got back to the car but was compelled to shoot it because the rain had stopped and I had a hunch that there was potential to make a good shot with the yellow light from the low pressure street lights bouncing off the rain fog.--From my gallery: Pano Mano.
I hit the heaviest of rains driving east in southern Virginia. Just as the rains stopped I saw this unlucky home. I shot from inside the car through the passenger window because the ground was still so wet.
Saw this window as I was driving by. Inside the whole roof had collapsed and nature was taking over as was the case here with behind this sunny store front window.
