Now loading new images from spring 2016. The wildflowers don't bloom every year, due to drought conditions. Mid-March the bloom was just getting started at the south end of the park near the Cottonwood Visitor Center. Upon returning April 3, a lot of the flowers and Joshua Tree Blooms had disappeared. Too Hot? Too little rain?
NOTE: After twenty-five years shooting with Nikon film and DSLR's, I've traded in most of my heavy full-frame gear for the new Fuifilm X-Pro2 digital rangefinder info here: http://fujifilm-x.com/cameras/x-pro2/ and a couple of Fujinon lenses. All the images loaded April 3, 2016 were shot with the Fujinon.
