20050522 / for miss (e)

Nothing unusual, nothing’s changed
Just a little older, that’s all
You know when you’ve found it. There’s something I’ve learned
Because you feel it when they take it away

Something unusual, something strange
Culled from nothing at all
But I’m not a miracle. No, I’m not a saint
Just another soldier on a road to nowhere.

I love the angle, too!

The tilt makes this image,Chris. Love the textures too! Excellent.

It's an interesting angle on this shot, Chris, and emotionally evocative. The colors are wonderful, but - I don't know - maybe it's also the words and comments from other people, but it brings to my mind a time when the world just seems to tilt and there's just some hard and rocky stuff to go through before it's all back as it should be again.

A vignette of coastal colours, from smooth blues to rugged earthy hues. Interesting angle Chris, did a similar shot the other week with the intention of inverting some of the image.

Very nicely done.

Love it - the blue of the sky, the ruggedness of the shore, and the lyrics (a current favourite in casa kite too)!

jude said it all, I think!

If this were my post, someone would be sure to say, "You know it's a very easy process to fix the tilted horizon in Photoshop."
This is a great looking rocky beach.

excellent idea

yes, to the horizon, to the unknown but one must not be fearful of the unknown. But to get from e to d, one needs to step through all the rough rocky paths....that requires courage.

Diagonal horizon.. from a plane or from a wave.. maybe just a tilted rock to stand on.. The texture and jumble of the rocks leads the eye be drawn to the horizon where it cannot look away again..
Excellent, surfer boy
