Outside amenities, on the side verandah

~ Mildura, Victoria, Australia ~

Including a wash trough and what looked to be somewhere to keep the coal! I'm not sure what is up the other end of the verandah with wheels - does anyone know?
* A suggestion from Poochdad that it might be an old wringer (or mangle), and I think he's right!

I like that brick floor. The "thingy with the wheel" looks like an old laundry mangle to me - I'm not an expert but I believe that when doing the laundry in the olden days, you turned the wheel to feed your wet clothes between the rollers which pressed the excess water out, prior to hanging the clothes up to dry.
