Jul 2: Wet grass

Manic day #2...

Business completed, and after an overnight stop in an old inn, time to drive home again, but not before stopping off at Alan and Dee's in Herodsfoot to see how their farmhouse restoration is coming on. The house is fantastic, and their plans even more so. This is about 9 square inches of their 10 acres, all of which had several good soakings from what the BBC weather man might call "heavy showers, making for tricky driving conditions". I'll say!

With all the rain, you get healthy glassblades like this, nice shot.
