Jul 1: Rusty fence

Manic day #1: Drive 200 miles to Cornwall to sort out (what Linda described as) some business, meeting Simon Kirk for lunch on the way down. Nice to meet you Simon, a pleasure. Looking forward to a ride out when you get your SV650 - and the license of course!

This is a fence along what we are now starting to call 'our road'. The fields from here slope down from the moorland towards the sea some 10 miles south and what seems like a mile down. East from here are the remains of old copper mines which closed 100 years ago, and to north the moor stretches up and out of sight. 100 yards back along the road to the west is a row of miners cottages...

I know you did all this on purpose . . .none of your shots are "accidental" . . . but I find it cool the way youframed the flower in the square of rusted wire, and even tho the other elements are slightly outa focus, they are stil definable & makes the whole pic quite cool, cuz there's so much to look at
