On a whim, I started a PC rebuild last Friday. I was a bit short of disk space, so I thought, let's back up the data and start again from scratch, using the two 40gig drives to better effect. Then, on another whim, I decided that replacing one of the drives with a 160gig would be time and money well spent, and what the heck, another 256Mb memory wouldn't hurt either. Only these things are never so easy! Nearly a week and several small (but annoying) problems later, here I am, copying my data back on to the new drive. Or rather, here I am with my feet up enjoying a coffee, and reading Mac User while the PC gets on with the data. Macs are so much easier...
