May 22: Screwdriver

I know, not the greatest pic. Not one of the greatest days. One of those days stuck infront of a screen. I decided to rebuild the PC. After two and a half years of installing and uninstalling various software, the hard disks and the registry must be tied in knots. That and I wanted to reconfiure the partitions on my two 40gig hard drives. Oh, and turn the little used second drive into the master. Quite a task. I started yesterday lunchtime, and have just got the thing back to a state where I can do the PotD thing on it again. Yay! Still lots more installation to go. This is the screwdriver I used to remove the drives before changing the jumper settings. Oh, yes, I can still do the IT thing when I want!

That is a big bite you are chewing on. I'm amazed you got up to speed enough to do this excellent photo. And btw, I see Paul is getting lots of accolades, but as I understand it you were earlier if not right at the start. So thanks to you for your creativity in getting the PaDs going.

careful now - IT types are boring and you don't want to be thought of as boring do you?
