Mar 12: Wasted time

Sorry that this is a little unimaginative, but as you can see it's gone 9pm and I've yet to take a picture today. Nor have I eaten yet. Why? Because I've been trying, and failing, to explain the idea of PaD gallery on the forum...

Hei Reid

PAD is picture a day or photo a day, the concept of taking a pic everyday, thanks - Mel

David, Could you please explain what a PAD is again? I must have missed it. :)

The composition makes this ordinary object interesing.

Funny... the clock on my computer says 9:12 pm and I'm just trying to get started shooting my PAD shot for today! Almost the same relative time as you!

This may sound a bit weird, but I kind of like it when the PAD people whose work got me interested in this project (like you) have a hard time getting a shot. Makes me feel less clueless in someway. AND I like seeing how you take a picture of a very ordinary thing and do it in a way that has something a bit more than ordinary to it (like the crop you chose here). I learn a lot from that. That's the main reason for going for the shot a day to me.

Now, I really have to quit the procrastination and go snap my flower I bought at the store a few minutes ago so I'd have something lovely to shoot.

Even better to start a forum thread that everybody ignores!
