April 7th - Polaroid

Yes, another ebay find.
A 450 this time.
I had so much fun with the 420 that I decided the upgrade in lens and film speeds were worth it.
It's been sitting for a week or two awaiting some attention.
I made a quiet afternoon of cleaning the body and looking it over closely.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll load a pack of 667 in her.

While your here, I have a question.
I'm thinking of getting a new camera.
I'm torn between the Canon 30d and the 5d.
Either would be an upgrade from my 300.
I think I might be able to scrounge enough duckets for a 5d... but I'm not sure it would be worth the added cost.
What do you think?

nice lighting on this - brings the logo out.
as for the upgrade advice - it depends on why you want to upgrade and what's most important to you. I personally would never make a recommendation with a lot of someone's money at stake without knowing this first. :-) If you can in your local camera store, why not handle both and get some sample shots before you make up your mind. If you want me to email you some RAW or full size jpegs to play with, let me know.

I've got a couple of those old Polaroids too, and they are a lot of fun. I need to get more film for mine. If you can afford the 5D, that's the way I'd go. The low light capabilities, and that full frame 35mm sensor would be a nice thing to have (and I'm a Nikon user)!!
