At one time this was the last stop.
That is, until progress came along and passed it by.
The local pbase'rs may recognize this.
It's the old truck stop/gas station at Edison Highway and East Brundage Road.
It's looked like this for as long as I can remember.
But at one time this was a happening stop before heading east over the Tehachapi Mountains.
Then the freeway in the distance passed it by.
Now all that's left is weeds and rusty steel.
