Super collection - they look deadly :o)
Stewart Mitchell11-Jan-2010 21:34
Excellent capture with super light and tonal range, I like that tight crop showing just enough of the window frame!
Doug Cruden11-Jan-2010 19:34
Yikes! They look dangerous!! Best not lean out of this window in a hurry!! Great shot Timothy
Fred Gary11-Jan-2010 18:24
Good shot Tim, makes me wonder how big the ones are at our church are. Last year they were about 8 feet long and 6 to 8 inches in diameter at the roof edge. We haven't really had enough warm weather to melt the snow for big icicles.

Best not put your head out of that window!

This is fabulous, it looks like they are on the inside and you're looking out. Very cool effect..

Just don't stand under them. They can be dangerous. Beautiful icicles! I've always love looking at them and when the sun shines, how the sun dances off of them1

Wonderful icicles. Brings back memories. When I was a kid, we lived near the Stangl Pottery (now collectible) and we would snap a big icicle hanging from the eaves and suck on it all the way home. Who knows what chemicals leached into this from the roof, but they always tasted good and we never got sick.
Mary Terry11-Jan-2010 01:50
Those are some serious icicles!
J. Scott Coile11-Jan-2010 01:33
Impressive. I like that the shadows carry them out.
LynnH11-Jan-2010 01:28
ohhhhhh... we loved finding big ones like this when we were kids! I love the reflections you've captured too.
