Red Tailed Hawk

I went out to shoot landscapes Saturday, for the first time in several gray, ugly, flooded weeks. I only took my 135, not even dreaming I would get a bird. This guy watched me from a telephone wire for a few seconds, then decided he had had enough of me. Since the wire was on a hillside, well above where Sherri had stopped the car, I got a nice look underneath. If only I had had the 300...but, then, if only...
