I was up in the Highlands today, I was hoping for some spectacular scenics of the mountains but the weather
wouldn't play ball, with snow and rain causing visiblity problems.
In these conditions I prefer not to see the grey sky in my pics, so this is my pick of the day.

Beautiful, nice shutter speed, and actually, if it were not overcast, you probably would have had blown out areas, cloudy days are best for shooting pictures such as these.

I like the way you have kept the action of the water and not turned the water to cotton wool. Great colours and detail in the background too.

Kimberly, nope no filters used, although it was pouring rain which has taken the edge of the sharpness (I resharpen in PS after downsizing for web). Camera was tripod mounted and 1 second exposure used to blur the moving water.
