That's areally cool shot - amazing that such a detail carving could be done with a chainsaw! I love that border, too.

Hi folks. Yes this was done with a chainsaw. At the base it says D.R. 93. So it's
12 years old. I don't know the story behind this art work, if it's a gift to a child,
or maybe a deceased child. I don't know. GK, the border was done in PS Element 2,
Effects, Spatter frame. There is a lot of chainsaw art in the twin cities. On the state
fair grounds there is 46 different sculptures. I know there's one across from the
governor's mansion also. Thanks for looking.

Great find, Dave! Very good example of the beauty of wood. Judging by the rough hewn cuts, I'm guessing this was indeed done with a chainsaw. Truly amazing!---Deb
