This is one of several Bald Eagles that reside in Yellowstone that we saw. I was in the park for basically 3 days. The first using a snow coach and the other two on snowmobiles. This adult bald eagle was seen on the first day just inside the park while still in Montana. The weather was quite cold at about -18 degrees causing the humidity from the local thermal features to frock the trees with beautiful white crystals. Being on a group tour, I was only able to stay a very sort time before having to leave.
