The Great Blue Heron sure is a skiddish bird. I guess if I ever want to get a real good shot of one I'll have to spend a day in a blind. The instant those guys see you they are on the move!

Wanda, I don't think you need a blind....you got a real good shot right here. We have a lot of herons here (at least we used to..fewer all the time) and they are shy, like you said. But this guy looks like he was modeling for you...did you give him any tips(on modeling)? IMO, a very nice image. Congrats.......
