My Oh My Apple Pie 04_19_05.jpg

Wanda is no domestic Goddess; but, she makes a fantastic apple pie. Food photography isn't my thing and I thought I would give it a try. I didn't spend lots of time on this shot because I couldn't resist eating the props.

Wanda .. would you be willing to post your pie recipe? This looks so good I might even attempt making it. :)

Monte, I thought the same thing this morning. I just had the last piece of pie for breakfast.

It is 8:00 AM in the morning and and instead of thinking of eggs and toast I have a craving for apple pie! Eating props is okay!

Gee Bill, to look at the photos of you I would never know you liked to eat pie. You are so svelt....

...anyway, nice shot. Seems a little bright, but photo is sharp.

Bill, this is truly mouthwatering. I'm ready to dig in. Wanda seems to make her apple pies exactly how I love them: soft, slightly flaky crust and plenty of cinnamon. I'd love to bite in and see if the apples are as tasty as they appear to be. Apple pie is something I truly love, though I rarely eat. While stationed in San Diego, I discovered the Julian Apple Pie Company in the tiny town of Julian, to the east and slightly north. Best apple pies I've ever had. It is a constant quest to find good quality apple pies more often than not leading to naught but disappointment. Just looking at this pie, I can tell it is likely on par with the best. My sincere compliments to the cook!

Nice Image...making my want a slice as well...
Hope she can make one later...would like to try it...

I would say that you have done very well here...Nice even lighting...And the tight cropping adds to the image...

Inclusion of the fork is a good touch.
