Gray Day 04_18_05.jpg

This is today's view from our front porch. It's a gray, cold, windy day. Some might even call it miserable weather and if you compare today to yesterday then you would be right. The high temperature for today is 40 degrees Fahrenheit lower than yesterday's. Yesterday was warm, sunny and oh so pleasant. A perfect Spring day. Without days like today you would never appreciate days like yesterday. You need the bad so you can appreciate the good.

If I was going to have a gray day view from my front porch, this one would work.

Great shot.

The drama and starkness makes this a powerful image ... good show.

You are so right! You have to experience the bad to love the good, but call me crazy, I love gray, cloudy, wintry days! How I ended up living in N. Florida I'll never know, but I've learned to love our weather, too. Course I can say that now, in April! Come August, I'll be whining for a cold, wintry day...
