All days are good when you are in the field for wildlife photography; but, some days are a little slow. Today was one of those slow days. No really worthwhile animals or birds came into range. It was late and the sun was fading fast, when this Ring-neck Pheasant rooster and a couple of hens showed up on the edge of the field. This was one of the first clicks of the shutter for the day.
The golden light from the setting sun really compliments this pheasant.
