Momma and baby Moose 6_24_11.jpg

What we saw today in Rocky Mountain National Park. We watched this momma moose and baby for a couple of hours. Most of the time they were just bedded down in the grass.

The snow is still very deep on top. This was a whirlwind trip. I needed to use a couple of days of paid vaction or loose them.

Are you on an all fun trip to Colorado, with no work involved? Still lots of snow in the high country?

We saw a pair like that on the west side of the park two weeks ago. But didn't get a great shot like yours. Only carry a small camera when hiking. Very nice.

Bill,
You are so lucky these kinds of subjects so close to you. Living in the Midwest, I only wish I had the opportunity to travel a short distance to see the wonderful subjects that you capture! Thanks for sharing with all of us.
