Orrin G Soaking Up Morning Sun 07-16-11

Wanda asked me to take a couple photos of the famous Orrin G showing how his wound is healing. I caught him out on the back steps soaking up some morning sun.

I liked how the day lilies in the background followed the line of his body and how the colors all worked.

I still say that although I haven't led a good enough life in this lifetime to come back in my next life as Bill, I wouldn't mind coming back as Orrin G.

Bill, I didn't think you still had that lens. It has that "pop" that other lenses just don't seem to have......the colors are so rich. Nice to see it still gets some work.

I haven't written a blog yet about Orrin's wounds, but I will. Life has just been in the way of late so I am a bit behind.

Very nice image. Love the colors. Orrin G is one great looking cat! I must have missed the story of how Orrin G was injured (if you or Wanda mentioned it). What happened to this very special kitty?
