My grand-daughter saw a picture of me making Christmas cookies with her big brother and wanted her chance to cook in the kitchen with Lala.

We decided to make butterfly cookies and with the bit of remaining dough, she made a snake with clove eyes.

Part of the fun was decorating the cookies with icing and sprinkles and as you can see by the icing on her cheeks, nose, and chin, she was sampling the icing as we decorated.
A good cook always tastes to be sure it is right!
