This might even work in the transition section because the subject is beginning to be lost or slipping away from the old way.

A great composition and the kind of feet without body I like.
Perhaps she should meet him:http://www.pbase.com/kimkong/image/56768334
I am quite surprised I posted it just a day after you without knowing,
I suppose it could be a pong... :)

I can not resist being drawn into your interactive images. I have no choice but to walk through that door to complete the picture. The power of suggestion, curiosity and discovery is formidable. You use it exceptionally well.

Is this what Gestalt calls "closure"? ... forcing us as viewers to connect what lies beyond the borders of the picture? If he was talking about more than lines and shapes, than this is it.

This is a really good composition, with that empty space in the middle. I also love how we see the woman on the right side.

An open door to imagination... great shot!

The empty chairs, the body language (the floppy foot) and abstracted body are important, but it is the yawning black hole that invites our imagination to enter and go to work. Normally, big black holes in pictures fragment the image and draw the eye to nothing in particular. But in this case, it is the point of picture. She lives in an empty, mordant world. That is why some feel she has been murdered. You sure know how to trigger eerie thoughts, Kal.

Excellent shot

I agree with Ray. My first thought was that she was assassinated. True?

This reminds me of the French concierge in Zinnemann's film, ''Day of the Jackal," after she was killed. It is true that we see more when less is shown. Bravo!!!

The title is definitely good, but it’s the necessary consequence of the choices at the basis of this picture.
The woman is the main character, but she is hidden and only the detail of her feet is visible.
She is like if she was an actress on stage during a break in rehearsal.
The walls with the ideograms are like the wings of the scene.
The two white plastic chairs are in a mirror, balanced position, one is empty and one is occupied by the woman.
We can guess in the shadow something of the indoors elements to.
She’s waiting, it’s not important to know what she’s waiting for…
She’s waiting, there is a feeling of resigned waiting in this picture.
Thought provoking…
