Tradition

I once thought that tradition was about the old in the present. What I realise now is that tradition is about those things that are always there, yesterday, today and tomorrow. They are about the constants in life that ride the tide of time and change. Yes they get diluted, but in the end they change state and survive in a different form. Tradition is the bedrock of society, it's the foothold that keeps our sanity and allows us to measure the future.
