Light, structure, content. Everything's there, and working together.
Big VOTE my friend! ;-)

I like the fact that we hardly see the woman... This image is all about colours, light and shade. The way the baskets are positioned "takes the woman" away form the center of the image and makes look at it in a diagonal line instead and it works really well.
Wonderfuly composition.

You show us how important light and shadow are in terms of organizing an image for meaning, here Kal. Yor abstract the person, emphasizing the play of light on her shirt and hat and fruit instead. The white tiles in the background are darkened, and become part of the geometry of your image. Because of the quality of light, they are much last distracting than the same tiles that filled your "On Break" image earlier in this gallery. This image is built largely on mood and atmosphere and becomes a cultural icon. It reminds me, largely because of the play of light on the conical hat, of an image I made earlier this year in Laos ahttp://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/40171969
