16-SEP-2003 Chris Brooker

16th September 2003

Sainsbury's St. Albans. I take Adrienne, and my daughter Helen, to St. Albans each day. Sometimes I continue and go and see my Ma. I stop off at this supermarket to get things that won't suffer through being left in the car. It also gives the roads a chance to clear after the rush "hour".
What a boring text!!!
I like old radio programmes. "The Glums" were part of a comedy in the 50s. I have them on tape and know parts by heart. I was once able to use one line:-
My neighbour Dot came round and said", Chris, can you pop round for a sec"?
I was able to answer in the words of Pa Glum, "Oh Dot, I can't keep on popping round for secs".
It made my week. (Scripts by Muir & Norden).

Like the shadow on the concrete. Perspective is great...well done!

I love perspective shots like this, Chris - and you've captured it beautifully. Very well done!

I like the perspective in this one - nicely down the middle!
I'm far too young to remember those sorts of radio programmes, but it sounds typical of the English humour!
