We were going to a Superbowl Party on Miami Beach, Sunday night, but it rained. We opted to stay "at home" and watch the game onboard Shibumi. Boy, are we happy we did. By the time the game was over the wind was blowing up to 25 knots and the rain was coming down in buckets. We would have had a wet and wild dinghy ride back to the boat after the party.

We had gone to bed early, Saturday night, but were soon awaken by loud explosions on the west side of the harbor. When we went on deck to investigate we were treated to a fabulous fireworks display, beneath low hanging clouds, over downtown Miami.

Much nicer than a loud party given my experience of super bowl parties. Love the whole series of photos. Nice fireworks to wake up to.
