Yes indeed a Fab building. I actually live in one of the appartments in the Leicester house building next door. The developers are doing a fab job of keeping all the oringinal features in all the buildings here and it's a great place to live!
So not as one comment said 'Bang goes another piece of history' just time to move on and develope with style.

Used to walk past this on my way to town. Rather sad it's being turned into more expensive apartments. I remember seeing Alan Partidge pull up to this very entrance in his Rover Vitesse on his Christmas special! Very nice picture.

It's a lovely picture...but a sad reminder of what's going on up & down the country....I don't understand it!

My goddaughter used to work in a psychiatric hospital, they closed it and most of the the patients were turfed out on the street (I believe they call it 'Care In The Community')
This has nothing to do with you excellent picture, I'm just having a rant!
