Foundry contrasts

Monday 23rd May - Day 156

Another visit to Finch Foundry at Sticklepath... this was found while I was roaming the junkyard outside... I was struck by the contrasts between the greens and the browns, the natural and the manmade

The answer for yesterdays what the heck.... It is a boundary stone. The perimeter of the parish of Okehampton is marked by these, and form the path for a 'beating the bounds' ceremony that occurs every so often. I may add some more :)

Beautiful contrast here of color and texture. Could I ever have a field day in that place.

As your title states, contrasting colours and contrasting industrial and natural elements. Vibrant colours and I like the square crop.

Great color and tone! This reminds me about vacation with my parents
