Field of Wild Flowers, Sticklepath

Saturday 7th - Day 140

This is a field I've driven past a few times recently, and the sea of flowers kept on catching my eye. Unfotunately, there is no adjacent parking, so I had to find a spot, and walk back to here. Easier said than done - I really feel quite lousy, and although an hour's fresh air was welcome, I was coughing and spluttering every few paces.... yuk (too much detail??? ;) )

I really like this lens, but I think I'm going to have to watch the distortion carefully!

Another couple of images from the walk

Beautiful photo. As Jeremy said, I think I need to get out more if I can see things like this!

I can imagine that the scent there must be intoxicating from all that bloom. Very very beautiful. I love the space that is filled with flowers as far as you can see.

I like the composition and it looks like everyone has had white clouds in a lovely blue sky today. A friend has offered to lend me his Sigma 12-24 lens to see if I like it before I take the plunge - certainly produces some great perspectives.
