Speeding past

Tuesday 3rd May - Day 136

I've been running around trying to sort things out today, such that I felt I deserved a bit of a criss-cross route home. I normally drive home along the A30, the road in the picture, but today decided to take some roads I hadn't tried before. The reward was fields of wild flowers, like these. I thought I'd contrast them with the world rushing by, metres away.

The village on the right is South Tawton.

Another image from my jaunt

gorgeous pastoral feel to this one . . with the juxtaposed 'urban' touch. Nice placement . . and BTW . . WHAT village to the right?!?! It's barely noticeable!! I'd love to see this place up close and personal =]

Great action photo .... seems a shame for this car to be speeding along, missing the incredible yellow scene!

gorgeous landscape with the blurr of the car adding a touch of the unexpected. I enjoy the layers in this image.

Nice movement. The color is fantastic, too.

This photo certainly does make your point of a place where time stands still as the world rushes by. Great job.

Some of the best sights are the backroads...love them when I have the time. That patchwork on the fields is so full of charm

I like this! What fab countryside you have there!

I know rapeseed isn't popular but I have no idea why.... I think they look spectacular. Very nice shot.

Nice shot, Lee. It is nice to be rewarded like this!
Guest 03-May-2005 18:39
Nice shot Lee. The car gives a nice, different perspective

There were loads of Rapeseed fields and I was tempted to stop a couple of times on the way back from the new forest yesterday.

Wow, that is FAST!
Sheena Woodhead03-May-2005 18:29
....and we still haven't got any yellow fields in our area yet! I like the speedy vehicle, could almost be a spaceship!

cool shot, i have been doing this to some great landscap recently, sadly i was in the car.

Lovely countryside. In order to fill a years worth of shots, you have to take alot of different routes. Keep up the good work.
Ric Yates03-May-2005 17:37
Nice contrast. I've been taking the back roads more since starting PAD as well!
