Under cultivation

Monday 2nd May - Day 135

I'm hopeless at telling you what is growing here, what I do know was that the pattern on the field intrigued me, and under the grey sky we had today, doubly so.

btw - if it is Mayday public holiday, then it must rain sometime!

It was may day here this weekend too... you saw my beach fisherman yesterday Lee...think our weather was much nicer than this :>) That may have been weed sprayed under that plastic.

very nice Lee, i would have tried a different perspective to make more of the lines in the field. nice one.

Great perspective, it took me a while to work out the plastic sheeting! I think I want a wide angle lens like this too :-))

after your explanation, "under" takes on a new meaning. :)
Christina Craft02-May-2005 18:34
Great eye!! I love the angle and the way the lines work in this one. Phenominal.
Gail Davison02-May-2005 18:22
Great shot. Really interesting - well spotted (I know I would have walked right past this).
Leo Charette02-May-2005 18:20
The low perspective and flat lighting is really neat on this. I don't know why, but this strikes me as glaze on a sheet of brownies (before they are cut into squares. Humm, I need to go get lunch.

I like how the plastic reflects the gray sky. Nice earthy tones.
markvm02-May-2005 17:15
I really like the lines and perspective. Well done!
Coleen Perilloux Landry02-May-2005 14:55
Nice shot with great lines. I am curious to know what is planted there that it needs the plastic on the rows. Is it to keep birds from eating the seeds or to protect the germinated plants from the soil or......
