I originally called this, "Scenic detour". Many thanks to Joe for the brilliant new title!

I wanted a photo with somebody on the path, but in fact most people take the short cut (up or down the stairs behind me) so my wait was in vain. Anyway, I suppose in the mid-afternoon heat only a few crazy people (such as me) were moving around.
