An unusually grim bunch of sightseers!

This is at the end of the boardwalk through Hell Valley. It seemed to me as though
these people were perhaps expecting more in the way of weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I was a bit nervous about taking this shot. With sulphurous steam blowing everywhere I
was afraid of getting sulphuric acid (or some related substance - I'm not that good at
chemistry) onto or (even worse!) into the camera. I'm not sure that my cleaning methods
could deal with the results of that sort of accident!
