This is a photograph of me by Ernie Gaines that also shows his stepson Paul, and his wife Rene in the winter of 1959-60.

Gaines once told me that he met Rene' when she worked in a bank in France. He also told me that he had an ex wife, and daughter living in England. When he died in the Phillippnes, in 1985 he had a third wife named Linda.

Ernest and Rene often had some of the younger photographers to their trailor in Milton, FL for dinners, and some imported wines sent by her family from France.

I need more infromation on Ernest J. Gaines from 1961 through 1970.
