Nicely done. I can see the distinct differences between yours and Phil's photo. There is no right or wrong, just interpretations. :)

Both you and I used this golden wall of Nagas to frame what may well be the very some monks. In my approach, (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/40191768 ) the monks are moving. In yours, they are, as you say, just "hangin". Your frame within a frame encloses them within a doorway, offering us a touch of scale incongruity in the shadow of that awesome golden wall of fearsome Nagas.
