This woman was spending quite a bit of time deciding which bird to buy. I find myself wondering many things about this act of buying birds. I am interested that the bird is sitting so calmly and not biting at the woman's hand. I also wonder about the use of the bird. My first thought when I saw this was that she was buying it for food. But when I returned home I saw a tv show which showed that people buy birds to let loose at some temples as a offering. So, I don't know the fate of this bird.
