I love this portrait, Tim. There were a number of us photographing this young fellow, and each of us found our own moment and created our interpretation of him. (My own is at:http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/40197682 ) You took a frontal, rather than the "three quarters" vantage point as I did. His hand has moved to his chin, giving you a chance to express the human value of thought quite strongly. You interpret the light and skin tones with your own low key style, and minimize the role of the knit hat.
