Caged

My stepson served in Iraq at Abu-Ghrab prison. When he saw this image, he immediately resonated with the sense of capture, and containment. He said that he saw those same eyes in Iraq.

this is an incredibly powerful image, with many more layers and much more symbolism than at first meets the eye. i think your caption regarding your step-son's experiences in Iraq touches upon what i am thinking.
