Shaping Metal for Re-bar - Huay Xai - Laos

Another example of hand (and foot) labor. This man was bending metal bars into triangles which were combined to create re-bar for cement pillars.

Upon first glance at this shot I envision pain! So glad this isn't the case though. Your image struck a chord in me however, and is almost Christ-like on the crucifix. Take an everyday task and turn it into something extraordinary...you do that so well!
