At 233 feet, this is one of the tallest lighthouses in France. There are 365 steps and 52 windows for those into symbolism. It was too windy for us to go to the top.

What fantastic views from the top,it may have took me 20/30 mins to get to the top with my old knees but it was worth every pain and pant of breath. Des Sullivan & Friends. May 2005.
