Like every place where the view of the route was hidden by rock or vegetation, this high point made
me wonder whether foot travel beyond was possible. The footprints here were no consolation, as they
only confirmed that someone had been right here. Dealing with the unknown is part of the fun. This
pass is about 100 feet (30m) past the garden bench I had just walked on (previous photo).
