David and Goliath

West Virginia

“The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera.”
Dorthea Lange

This is my Mamiya RB67 with the 90mm K/L lens and Polaroid back. Next to it is the Olympus C5050Z for size comparison. There is no way to describe the weight. I bought a pistol grip which makes it much easier to shoot. And I have developed some impressive forearm and wrist muscles. :)

other sizes: small medium original auto

A creative presentation. I remember the MAMIYA RB67 from about 40 years or so ago. You certainly got your money's worth with this one Karen.

Very impressive comparison and both cameras deliver fine images in your hands. That lens looks brand new. Super quote from one of the great photographers too. V.

Very cool shot of your gear. Very nicely presented. "V"
I too use a pistol grip, primarily for shooting Pelicans in flight using a 80-400 lens:http://www.pbase.com/amoxtli/image/132396027

I looked at this one earlier but was speechless at the thought of carrying that around... and am still too gobsmacked to say much. But I think that the quote is amazingly accurate, and you can double that for PADing.

Nice shot... an Olympus C5050z. I think it was in the Oly forum on dpreview where I first saw your work, yes? An Oly was my first digital camera, those were great days of adventure.
