Getting a Handle on Things

I found a used Nikon Pistol Grip 2 on the Internet and mounted it on my Nikkor 80-400mm VR lens.
This grip was made by Nikon in the 70's and 80's and features a trigger to shoot directly from the grip using a Nikon 3 pins release cable.
I can't use the cable with a DSLR, but it will help me with my hand held in-flight Pelican shots.
You can see what I mean: Click Here

Problem solved!
I'd be squeezing that trigger waiting for a bang but we'll settle for a click and a pelican shot :)

Wow Walter, it certainly looks to be an awesome piece of kit.
Not the same thing, but do any of your club members use Black Rapid R7 camera straps.???
