I'm not so sure what the relevance of a plastic toy knight, holding the Swedish flag, is
to the Church of St Martin of Tours, at Fifield Bavant; but I must admit I was pretty intrigued!

Perhaps he's guarding the donations box?
Perhaps he is a donation?
Or simply part of some Sunday school re-enactment of the life of St Martin...?
